Thesis Title

How do standing meanders brake the Antarctic Circumpolar Current

Andrea started her PhD at UTAS in 2016. Her research focuses on investigating the response of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current (ACC) to changes in wind forcing. The project will make use of high-resolution computer models to investigate dynamical processes which govern the apparent insensitivity of the ACC's transport to increases in wind stress.
