Thesis Title

Sensitivity of Land-Atmosphere Coupling to Model Complexity

Biography

Annette commenced her PhD at UNSW in early 2012. Her PhD is focused on land-atmosphere coupling, particularly how feedbacks are represented within climate models and what impact the coupling strength has for climate predictability. She aims to evaluate the sensitivity of land-atmosphere coupling to land surface conditions and model complexity.

Before joining the Centre, Annette was an intern at CSIRO in 2011. Her research on land-atmosphere coupling is being supervised by Prof Andy Pitman and Dr Vanessa Haverd from CSIRO.
