Biography

Jessica is a research fellow at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies at University of Tasmania. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in physical oceanography at CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research from 2010 to 2013. Her research interests include boundary currents, shelf-open ocean interactions, and frictionally driven flows. Jessica is currently investigating currents in the South Indian Ocean and along the west coast of Australia. She is using process-oriented modelling to examine dynamics of the Leeuwin Current.
