Thesis Title

Evaluating Simulated El Nino Southern Oscillation Temperature and Precipitation Teleconnections with a Hierarchy of Observationally Constrained Datasets

Laurence is evaluating the ability of different climate models ability to simulate temperature and precipitation extremes associated with El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO). The thesis will focus on comparing anomalies of ENSO extremes within a hierarchy of datasets with different levels of observational constraints. He completed his undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and Management at The University of Newcastle before transferring into UNSW for Honours at the CCRC.
