Thesis Title

High resolution coral proxy records of Indian Ocean Dipole variability during the Holocene

Bethany began her PhD at the Australian National University in March, 2015. Her research involves creating a high resolution reconstruction of tropical eastern Indian Ocean sea surface temperatures using both modern and fossil coral samples from Indonesia. These reconstructions will assist in understanding past changes to the Indian Ocean Dipole system and its evolution throughout the Holocene.
