Thesis Title

Megadrought likelihood and its water resource impacts in Australia

Natasha completed a BSc in Atmosphere and Ocean Sciences and a BEng in Civil Engineering. As a professional engineer, she developed technical skills in hydraulic and hydrologic assessments and modelling, gained an understanding of Australian water policy and was exposed to the forefront of water resource technology. Her current research is contributing to an ARC Linkage project which spans the engineering and climate science disciplines, using paleoclimate and instrumental records to assess the risk of severe drought in Australia, in order to inform water resourcing decisions.
